Program Areas
The Ohio Division's Performance Planning Process largely revolves around 16 formally defined and recognized program areas:
Administrative Services ( Rise Stevens: 614-280-6834 )
The major components of the internal budget and business operations are management of travel funds, procurement of supplies and services, and facilitation of the annual training call. Responsibility for these activities is spread across the entire team with primary oversight for all except the training call resting with the Team Leader.
Bridges/Structures (Matt Shamis: 614-280-6847 )
The bridge team provides oversight, monitoring, and technical expertise in the areas of structural design, bridge management systems (BMS) construction and maintenance, geotechnology, hydraulics, research, value engineering, and National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS). Structural, hydraulic, and geotechnical plan reviews are conducted federal oversight project plans. Construction inspections are conducted as needed to monitor specific projects and construction activities, to perform process reviews, and to obtain information on state-of-the-art construction and design practices. Reviews of NBIS inspection program activities and procedures in ODOT districts and local agencies are performed to fulfill stewardship requirements.

Fleet Management Programs Ohio Materials Handling can help to save your company money through our Fleet Management Programs. Few things can seem less clear than your materials handling picture. Purchase price, financing, repairs, downtime, maintenance, operator training, administration, retiring, aging equipment - and much more - contribute to a complex, ever-changing and potentially profit-draining operation. Yale Fleet Management can help bring it all into focus. Benefits of Fleet Management:
  • Fleet Rightsizing Administrative Cost Reduction Production and Capacity Improvements Re-Engineering Systems Analysis Acquisition Analysis Asset Management Enhancement

It's All About Your Business
Rightsize - It is not unusual for the average materials handling fleet to contain up to 20% more trucks than necessary. Yale Fleet Management starts with a fleet rationalization, analyzing each piece of equipment through our 5R Process (Retain, Repair, Replace, Retire, Redeploy). This ensures that each truck is fully utilized, and its use maximized within its specification. Then, we'll redefine your fleet by segments (Core, Flex, Standby and Short-Term Rental). When we understand the "big picture," we can begin driving down the fleet population - the first step in lowering total cost of ownership. Economize - Buy or lease? Rent or own? Cash or finance? There are no one-size-fits-all answers. Yale Fleet Management working with Yale Financial Services, our in-house leasing finance company, can help with programs like 100% financing that saves working capital, S.M.A.R.T. Lease (Service through Maintenance-Assured Rental Trucks), and even seasonal or skip payment programs, allowing you to match your payments with cash flow.
