College Writing R1A is a six-unit course that fulfills the Subject A and R1A reading and composition requirements. Section 34 emphasizes the use of computers in writing. No previous computer experience is required, but you must be interested in learning. All major assignments and many homework assignments are done through e-mail, chat, and the web. Supplemental course material and chat room can be found at bSpace ( http://bspace.berkeley.edu ). A password is needed for this area of the class.
