BrainTalk Communities Specific Neurological Conditions (A - L) ADHD PDA View Full Version : New and improved(?) Homework Help Omnibus cathie 03-15-2004, 11:57 AM This topic is an experiment with the “Threaded Format” for posting. If you change your view of the thread to “Thread mode”, you can see the thread hierarchy. To do this, look at the top of this thread at the blue bar. On the far right you’ll see the words “Display Mode”. Click those words, and you’ll see three options. Choose “Switch to Threaded Mode”. If you don’t like this format, just click the words again and change back to the mode you were using.
If you have questions or suggestions about the format of this, I'm starting a separate thread called "Suggestions for the Homework Help Thread" http://brain.hastypastry.net/forums/showthread.php?p=9978#post9978
This is a copy of the thread I put together on the old Braintalk forums. Louise suggested the thread would be more useful if instead of links to other threads discussing homework, I tried to “synopsize” the important points made in the earlier threads. I’m going to try this approach and see if it results in a more accessible thread. My concern is that it will actually create one HUGE thread that is more intimidating than helpful. So, I will make each link to an earlier thread a separate reply in an effort to “break things up”. The other thread is still available on the old forum here (http://neuro-mancer.mgh.harvard.edu/ubb/Forum7/HTML/004557.html), if you prefer.
