    Library Horizon On-line Catalog Contact Us Hours Internet Resources The NYCC library, a department in the Academic Affairs division, is dedicated to providing quality and timely library services to the students, faculty, and staff of the New York Chiropractic College. The library occupies the top two floors of the Library/Anatomy building, with 10,653 volumes, 35,564 media items, and 306 journal titles (both print and electronic) in chiropractic, medical, and relevant science areas for use by the college community. A valid NYCC ID card is required to take out books or use reserve materials. Books, unless they are on reserve, may be borrowed for two weeks and may be renewed twice. Reserve materials, such as textbooks, periodical articles, journals, and other materials that may be used in your courses, are located behind the Main floor circulation desk. Generally, they are available for two-hour time periods, and are in-library use only. Materials that are not owned by NYCC may be available through interlibrary loan (ILL). The library staff will be happy to assist you in obtaining these materials. Please allow at least one week for processing.

Salary and rank dependant upon qualifications and experience. UNYSLA Post Date: September 18, 2005 Cornell University is located in scenic Ithaca in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. The town and university offer a unique cosmopolitan and international atmosphere in a beautiful natural setting of waterfalls, gorges, and lakes. Cornell University Library is a leading academic research library with outstanding collections, service and instructional programs, and a leader in digital library applications. The library constitutes a major university resource for learning, teaching and research, and serves a faculty of 1,600 and a student body of approximately 19,000. It holds a distinctive collection of over 7 million volumes in 19 libraries and has a budget of over $35 million. Supporting this operation are over 200 librarians, archivists and other professional staff, 300 library assistants, and 150 FTE student employees. The unification of the Department formalizes the close working relations among colleagues in the former units and the cross-functional responsibilities carried out by increasing numbers of librarians at Cornell.
