Former AFT President Sandra Feldman Dies at 65

Former AFT president Sandra Feldman, a lifelong advocate and activist for civil and trade union rights and the AFT's first female president since the 1930s, died Sept. 18 at her home in New York City after a three-year battle with cancer. She was 65.
