41. Swedish Resources In Delaware Valley - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey An
Lists Swedish historic sites, churches, restaurants, and organizations in Pennsylvania, new jersey and Delaware.

In many parts of the United States a listing of local resources related to Sweden would probably not fill a single screen. But in the Delaware Valley, as you will see, we will need a web site with many pages to give you an idea of all the resources available. Why is it so? Well, the first Swedes ever to visit this continent landed in 1638 on the western shores of the Delaware River at what is now the city of Wilmington, DE. My intention though is to eventually cover most aspects of the local resources up to the last minute info on the just opened Swedish restaurant [if we ever are to see that happen!] I will be most happy to receive suggestions regarding sites/resources to be included.

Now-Cast Welcome to Audubon-NJ.com Audubon-NJ.com NEEDS you help. If you know of up coming events, yard sales, ads for things to sell or anything else related to your town, please contribute. A special need is for a new section of the website that will be developed if the information comes in. There are many new families in town who need to know things like when trash and recylables are collected, leaf collection etc as well as ordinances in town that have an impact on us. If you are able to get this information from the Borough Hall during their working hours and send it in, it will be presented in a new section of this website. As long as the Borough of Audubon refuses to get with the program that other towns have done and not give us an "Official Website" we will have to rely on each other for information. If you have the time and desire to track down information, please send it in. It will benefit us all Besides the informative information asked above, if anyone can get meeting minutes from the Commisioners and School Board to be posted here, that is very much needed. This will not only dispell rumors but also inform our town. Please keep that in mind

SuperDome Chaplain Interview Reverend Toby Nelson, formerly of the New Brunswick Presbytery, in an email to us at the office, says:
"CNN did an interview with me that will air Wednesday evening at 7PM (in the west) on the Aaron Brown show. The subject relates to my work as a Chaplain at the Super Dome and the New Orleans Airport. They
focus on my discovery of 84 people on stretchers in the morgue - a
majority of them were alive and left there to die."
Please continue to pray for the victims of this disaster.
Task Group for Hurricane Relief
Professors Warren Dennis and Beth Tanner along with other faculty and leadership at New Brunswick Theological Seminary are forming a group of church leaders from the NJ area. We hope to serve as a resource for all of the work teams, displaced hurricane survivors in our area and other projects related to Hurricane Relief.
This team can aid in planning and implementing work trips and other activities. But more importantly, this team can provide a way to develop theological discussions in your churches on the issues of classism and racism. The team also hopes to aid churches to prepare for work trips theologically. We plan to aid leaders in preparing for the pastoral care aspects that will be needed for both the victims and the care givers.
If you know of persons in your church who will be leading your church's efforts in the relief and rebuilding, please send us their information and we will contact them and together we pray to build a larger community that can aid all churches as we work together for our neighbors. Please send the information to Beth Tanner at
