Overview
In a recent "Asthma in Schools" survey conducted by The National Association of School Nurses ( download report ), according to a national sample of their members, asthma is more disruptive of school routines than any other chronic condition, has a significant impact on absenteeism and many school staff may lack awareness of the causes of an asthma attack. More than half found asthma to be more disruptive to the student body routine than any other chronic health condition, with more than a third of nurses having to respond to an acute asthma attack or episode at least 11 times in the last school year.
We hope to set out other objectives within the next few months.
Relevant Action Step Items Action Item 5 :The Council will support states and federal agency coordination across agencies to have education and technical assistance available to schools in undertaking management activities that improve indoor air and reduce asthma triggers in schools.

Resolutions - Corporations Whereas: Interpretation of the US Constitution by federal judges to include corporations in the term "persons" has long enabled corporate directors, managers, agents and attorneys to act to nullify the fundamental and constitutional rights of human persons; the illegitimate judicial and legislative designation of corporations as "persons" and the bestowal constitutional power and authority upon corporations enables corporate directors, managers, agents and attorneys to sue municipal, state and federal governments, resulting in both corporate intimidation's and frequent judicial nullification of law that are contrary to the values and desires of the people: and Said designation compels local, state and feral governments to recognize corporations as legitimate participants in the fundamental mechanisms of self-government (e.g., legislation, elections, education, regulation and administration, jurisprudence and public policy debate) and since corporations are legal aggregations of property and wealth, corporate participation in the mechanisms of self governance overwhelms, overpowers, and essentially denies the participation of natural human beings; Public officials, hence, enable corporate managers, directors, agents and attorneys to wield the federal and state constitutions - to levy the coercive force of law - against the people of the United States, despite the fact that history, tradition and state constitutions declare the sovereign people to be the sole source of governing authority throughout the nation.

Knowing N.H.'s job woes firsthand, he seeks office
Unemployment, education reform, immigrant issues on state rep candidate's agenda
By JAYA MATHUR Published:
PELHAM, N.H. - As a former employee of a manufacturing company, state representative candidate Sid Das not only knows, but personally understands, the woes of job loss that have plagued so many New Hampshire residents.
"You need to be motivated to do [this job]," Das, 49, says. "I'm qualified because 26,000 people lost their manufacturing jobs [in New Hampshire], and I'm one of those 26,000. We need to talk about it. We should speak up and resolve this issue."
In addition to tackling the employment issue, Das seeks the opportunity to reform education, an arena to which he already contributes. He and his wife, Gargi, founded and now operate a preschool, the Evergreen Montessori House.
Das believes a child's most crucial time of development is between the ages of 1 and 6; the school allows him to be involved in education while continuing to work as a businessman.
