The June class schedule for Family to Family Connection, located at 160 S. Emery, is as follows:
Tuesday - Office will be open from noon to 2 p.m.
Playgroup is at 1 p.m. every Thursday at Honeysuckle Park.

No fireworks on public lands Southern Nevada public land agencies would like to remind community members that fireworks are not allowed on public lands in Nevada. Recent rains have created grasses in some areas that are 4-feet tall. Combined with extremely dry conditions in Southern Nevada, it would only take a spark to ignite a dangerous wildfire. Both adults and youth may be prosecuted for using fireworks on public lands. This could result in a fine of not more than $10,000 and/ or imprisonment of not more than one year. Persons may also be responsible for resource damage, suppression costs, and any injuries that occur if found liable for causing a wildfire. Farmer's market A farmer's market will be held from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday at Petrack Park (Highway 160 and Basin Avenue).
