Survey administrators regarding their use of IPM practices in schools after implementation of this educational project Justification In 2002, we conducted a survey of school administrators in Nebraska, which indicated that only 28% of the school districts currently have an IPM plan. Sixty-one percent indicated that routine pesticide applications are conducted in their schools. Decisions regarding these applications are made by custodial/maintenance personnel in 54% of the schools. Of the school personnel that control pests, only 27% are properly certified.
