    Sales Tax Questions and Answers… The City Council on September 13, 2005 passed 4-0 a Resolution to place a sales tax issue for capital improvement projects on the November 15, 2005 ballot. Capital Improvement Suggestions… The City Council and City staff conducted 42 listening sessions, including two town hall meetings. Suggestion cards were distributed in the utility bills as well as being distributed throughout the community. The reaction was great with citizens from different areas of the community responding. The City received over 1,637 suggestions with over 700 citizens attending the listening sessions and 736 suggestion cards received.
