Read Article Click Here ÂIn response to your comment of the Jamaican who is the African artist in residence, I feel that it is important to be tolerant of the idea that Africanism is not limited to the continent. People of the island of Jamaica are still of African descent, they just happen to live in the Caribbean . Let us not split hairs about where an African lives today, it is more important to maintain the bloodline of Africans throughout the Diaspora. In this 21st century there are too many other people trying to divide us, we can't afford to divide ourselves.
