listing of states by RRC
What are the Regional Resource Centers?
The six Regional Resource Centers (RRCs) are specifically funded to assist state education agencies in the systemic improvement of education programs, practices, and policies that affect children and youth with disabilities. The RRCs help states and U.S. jurisdictions find integrated solutions for systemic reform, offering consultation, information services, technical assistance, training, and product development. The beneficiaries of the RRCs' work are children and youth with disabilities, and the families and professionals associated with them.

FBU was established in 1988 and incorporated in the state of Montana. FBU is dedicated to developing, promoting and supporting educational programs based upon scientific, technical, and legal study and analysis for the restoration, wise use, management and conservation of furbearers and other natural resources.
Why Do We Need FurBearers Unlimited Since Prehistoric times, the use of wildlife has been important to mankind's survival. In the past century we have seen our world transformed through the marvels of science and technology. As a species we have radically altered how we live, our relationships with each other, and our personal and collective relationships with the natural environment. Our senses are flooded with mountains of information and things to keep the collective head of Western society spinning. Yet, mankind's use of wildlife continues, and necessarily so. As we hasten our development of science and technology we are quickly depleting the resources of our world. Conservation of our non-renewable resources is much talked about in today's society, but consumption of these resources continues to increase even as we agree it must be restrained.

Montana Education
High Schools are the Key to Montana’ s Future
by Michael Umphrey Montana’s future is being decided right now in its 176 public high schools. They are foundational institutions. If they fail, none of our economic or cultural developments will succeed. Unfortunately, getting the resources our high schools need in today’s political climate might take a political miracle. Only 29 percent of new teachers who graduated in Montana last year had any interest in looking for jobs in this state. While starting salaries in Oregon and Colorado are nearly $30,000, some Montana districts offer less than $20,000. It would be hard to imagine a more sure way for a self-governing society to ruin itself than to teach bright young people to organize their lives around making money and then to pay teachers a pauper’s wages. But that’s what we’re doing. After a decade of neglect, it would now take an increase of about $80 million to raise average teacher salaries from their present $32,000 to a more competitive $50,000. But education leaders only asked the last legislature for $67 million, and legislators agreed to less than half that. This wasn’t because we couldn’t afford more, but because political opponents disagreed about the mission of the schools.

US State Government Aid The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used to apply for most state loan, grant and scholarship programs, in addition to the federal loans and grants. When you submit the FAFSA to the US Department of Education, they forward the information on the form to the state student assistance agency. Each state has a different FAFSA submission deadline. If you submit your FAFSA by March 1, you will be in time for all state deadlines, other than Michigan. If you miss the deadline, you will be ineligible to receive state aid for the entire academic year. Procedures for applying for state prepaid tuition programs and the national guard differ from state to state. The amount of information provided on the state web sites varies from state to states. Some states provide comprehensive information about residency requirements , loan, grant, scholarship and prepaid tuition programs and other state aid programs. Others provide minimal information. We recommend visiting the sites for both your state of residence and for the states of the colleges to which you are applying. A B C D ...
