James Monroe
Monroe is best known for the "Monroe Doctrine." which stated that the United States would not allow European interference in the Western Hemisphere. He was the last Revolutionary War general to serve as President. Elected:
The Early Years
James Monroe was born at Monroe's Creek in Westmoreland County, Virginia, to a father of Scottish and a mother of Welsh descent. From the age of 11 to 16 he studied at the Campelltown Academy. When James was 16, his father died. That same year, 1774, he began his studies at the College of William and Mary. The fever of the Revolutionary War sweeping the country was not conducive to studies, and in 1775 he dropped out of school. He joined the Williamsburg Militia and eventually the Continental Army. Monroe had a distinguished career ,and rose in rank from Lieutenant to Lieutenant Colonel. He fought in the battles of Harlem Heights, White Plains, Trenton, Brandywine, Germantown and Monmouth. From 1780-82, he studied law under Thomas Jefferson. From 1783-1786, Monroe served as a member of the Continental Congress. In 1790, he became a US Senator from Virginia. Four years later he became Minister to France. In 1796 he was recalled by Washington for not publicly defending the Jay Treaty with Great Britain. From 1799-1802 Monroe served as the Governor of Virginia. In 1803 he assisted US Minister Robert Livingston in negotiating the Louisiana Purchase. From 1803-1807, Monroe was Minister to Great Britain, a job that he found increasingly difficult as he was not successful in convincing the British to abandon their policy of impressment of US citizens, the largest problem in US British relations.

Pastor Herrell is a member of Christian Identity whose writings end up on scores of hate and racist websites. He stated very clearly what he really hates: "freedom of individuals, tolerance and generosity toward all people, and equality of people of all races, religions, and beliefs." This well describes most Deists, Jews, Unitarians, and some Christians. He hates the very people his idol Hitler also hated. He is just another extreme-right mental case. These kinds of conspiracy theories, paranoia, and lies flood the Internet "mind-snaring" mainly Christian fundamentalists that have been taught all their lives to abandon reason and just follow. Note the list of "Jews" he presents. See Why Do Some People Hate Freemasonry?
Dogma of Christian Identity

History of Christian Identity
Deist Masons are Jewish
by Pastor V.S. Herrell Few white people in America are aware of the truth behind the Masons. Some may be perceptive enough to recognize Masonic symbols on license plates, cars, tombstones, etc., but they may not realize the type of people who are Masons or what Freemasonry is all about. Even less realize that Freemasonry is really just a code name for Judaism. Many will say that it is an organization founded in Christian principles, but this is far from the truth. In fact, the basic tenet of Freemasonry is anti-Christian, promoting "freedom of individuals, tolerance and generosity toward all people, and equality of people of all races, religions, and beliefs," as one Jewish Mason has stated. In fact, a cursory glance at Masonic literature shows that this is always stated as one of their basic beliefs. They also claim to believe in one God who created everyone. Thus we have the theory of "The Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of all Mankind," which is fundamentally against the teachings of the Bible.

On October 17 , 1823, President James Monroe wrote a letter to his friend and Virginia neighbor Thomas Jefferson seeking advice on foreign policy. The issue at hand was whether to join forces with Britain in a joint-declaration against Spain's efforts to regain sovereignty in South America. Both Jefferson and former president James Madison , whom Monroe also consulted, recommended cooperation with Britain. However, Monroe's Secretary of State, John Quincy Adams, was more cautious. "It would be more candid," Adams warned Monroe at a November 7, 1823 cabinet meeting, "as well as more dignified, to avow our principles explicitly to Russia and France, than to come in as a cockboat in the wake of the British man-of-war."

ames Monroe of Virginia was the fifth President of the United States. Four of our first five presidents were from Virginia, and together, they were known as the "Virginia Dynasty." James Monroe had close personal ties to each of the other three members of this group of Virginia presidents. He served in the American Revolution with General George Washington, who became our first president. When Monroe returned to Virginia from military service in the American Revolution, he studied law under Thomas Jefferson, our third president. Later, Monroe moved to the present-day Charlottesville area to live close to Jefferson, his good friend and mentor.

Mike's Notes: James Monroe is one of 2 presidents buried in Hollywood Cemetery (the other is John Tyler - in fact, their graves are adjacent to each other; you can see the edge of Tyler's grave at the far left edge of the first picture above). I think that Monroe's grave is the coolest-looking grave of all the U.S. presidents. But the most interesting thing to me is that, while Monroe got this huge ornate thing, his wife, Elizabeth Kortright Monroe , only got a little plaque on the ground. Toward that end, it negotiated two important accords with Britain that resolved border disputes held over from the War of 1812. The Rush-Bagot Treaty of 1817, named after acting Secretary of State Richard Rush and Charles Bagot, the British minister, demilitarized the Great Lakes, limiting each country to one 100-ton vessel armed with a single 18-pound cannon on Lake Chaplain and Lake Ontario. The Convention of 1818 fixed the present U.S.-Canadian border from Minnesota to the Rocky Mountains at the 49th parallel. The accords also established a joint U.S.-British occupation of Oregon for the next ten years.
