This is the official site for the Collection ARC , a paper model collection of famous buildings of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Bienvenue au site officiel de la Collection ARC , une collection des maquettes en papier des plus connus bâtiments de Montréal, Québec, Canada The ARC collection 3D paper models, presented in the left column, are a carefully detailed work of a group of architects who were motivated by their appreciation of the architecture of the buildings that they chose to conceptualize as cutout models. We are grateful to Héritage Montréal, for the positive encouragement and the follow up throughout this project. HÉRITAGE MONTRÉAL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of Montréal's urban, architectural, landscape and social heritage. The ARC collection could not become a reality without the support of the Ministry of culture of Québec, patrimonial section. Cultural services of the city of Montréal , also, demonstrated a special interest in bringing this project to reality. Each model contains the paper pieces that need to be cut out and assembled, complete assembly instructions, legend, and historic information about each building.

I have built kits out of the box for many years and have found enjoyment out of every one. Each one I built increased my skills in the medium and allowed me to build better and better replicas. I have recently branched out into the realm of building replicas from scratch. While i doubted my skills in this field, trial and error, persistance and encouragement from a certain acquaintance of mine (yes, you christine!!), allowed me to get results that really surprised me.
