The Hedrick/Deering Family of Missouri
Updated February 5, 2002
Welcome to our Family Tree.
When my fiance and I started this project in June 2000, we had no idea what a huge task it was going to become or how many people we would actually find in my lineage.
All the people in this tree were found in either reference books, online message boards, email contacts or live testimony. I didn't source every entry because it was just going to be a small family project and it almost became overwhelming!
• I have supplied a full family tree view from my Gedcom file of my Hedrick/Deering roots.
• A Hedrick descendant chart of my Hedrick Ancestry on my fathers side.
• The Dildine line is from my Grandmother Connie Mozel Dildine on my mothers side.
• The Deering line is from my Grandfather Leo Everett Deering on my mother's side.
• The Turnbough line is from my Great-Great Grandmother Nancy Jane Turnbough on my father's side.
• The Williams line is from my Grandmother Nora Idella Williams on my father's side.
We are stuck on the these ancestors. Please contact us if you can give us information on the following:

A study of the Swiss surname St¼ssi. Descendants concentrate in California, Kansas, missouri, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

Swiss Surname: Other variations: Misspellings: Stucci, Stusce and any spelling ending -ey Based on an extract from the archives in the Swiss Canton of Glarus, here is a chart of the various family lines. The records indicate that the various families with the name cannot be traced to a single ancestor. However, it is noted that practically all of the originating lines are from villages in the Linth River Valley, the central valley of Glarus: I have dated significant events listed in the archive that establish a presence in each area. In some cases, a family line is known to have ended, as shown by a date to the right of the respective line. References to "Glarus" refer to the village that is the center city of the canton, not the canton itself. The connection between the lines in Näfels and Mollis is a guess, but logical since these two villages are directly across the river from each other. Even though there is no common ancestor of record for all the lineages, it is assumed that one did exist. The archive information only seems to have recorded information on branches through about 1930, and ignores emigrations outside Switzerland. Here's some of the other moves that I have detected:
