Welcome
We believe in the power of relationships. Relationships with parents, children, spouses, peers, the Divine, and even ourselves have an immense impact on an individual's holistic health. Our practice builds upon this philosophical base. We work with adults, couples, families and children in improving relationships and building on existing strengths. Services We offer a full range of mental health services, with a special emphasis on services for children. We offer traditional therapy for children and adults We also offer our original Family Attachment Narrative Therapy program for children whose development has been compromised by early life trauma and attachment relationship difficulties. Whatever the issue, the Family Attachment Center can help.
New Parent Support Group
The Family Attachment Center is offering a new parent support group. This is a three-session parent group facilitated by Family Attachment Center Therapists designed to empower caretakers of children with attachment difficulties through support and education. Program in Human Sexuality

On behalf of the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, I welcome you to our Web site. As one of the largest departments in the University of Minnesota Medical School, we have played a major role in resident and medical student education for many years. We have 134 residents in our family medicine residencies and have graduated more than 1,200 residents since our programs began in the early 1970s. For many years, our department has consistently received from the American Academy of Family Physicians either the gold, silver or bronze award presented annually to departments whose medical school has more than 20 percent of its graduating class choosing family medicine residencies. In addition to medical student and resident education, we have programs in human sexuality and research, as well as a clinical research fellowship for family physicians. We are proud of our accomplishments and want to share our excitement with you. Link here to our current department newsletter, Family Medicine Connection (PDF).

Minnesota Family Investment Program - Employment Services - Program Profile
Purpose
The purpose of this program is to provide support for families that helps them move from welfare to unsubsidized employment. Customers and Services
The program's customers are families currently on welfare. For most welfare recipients, participation in employment programs is mandatory and benefits are limited to 60 months in a lifetime. All participants receive an assessment and employment plan which outlines mutually agreeable steps necessary to become self-sufficient. The program expects participants to take responsibility for supporting their families within time limits or their benefits will be reduced. Participants are always better off working due to financial incentives; they remain eligible for an incentive until they earn up to 120 percent of the poverty level. Child care and medical services are also available to help participants transition off welfare into work. The program operates in all 87 counties in Minnesota and on eleven Indian reservations. Employment services providers vary throughout the state and include the Minnesota WorkForce Center partners, community action agencies, educational agencies, county agencies, and other nonprofit entities.
