For three years, physics professor James Kakalios taught a Freshman Seminar called "Everything I Know About Science I Learned from Reading Comic Books." In his forthcoming book, The Physics of Superheroes, Kakalios takes the reader on a fun ride through the fantastic world of comic book superheroes and examines the scientific basis, or lack thereof, of their powers. Learning physics was never so painless.

The Twin Cities River Rats Waterski Show Team is a 100% volunteer organization. We plan, practice, and perform waterski shows at our home site near downtown Minneapolis MN, and at various other locations throughout the Midwest. Team members participate in all aspects of the show, from skiing to boat driving to announcing to rolling ropes.
We currently have over 70 members and we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
We perform weekly shows at our site for free:
