AT THE SCENE Little did we know when we were creating the Ed Psych newsletter, that we would need an interior design editor, but since the newsletter IS entitled Ed Ps tings, we feel compelled to describe some new views, with editorial commentary. Some of you noticed large sample books of fabric swatches lying about in the 880 area of Ed. Sci. At other times members of the staff could be seen pouring over paint samples, deep in serious discussion. Consensus is often extremely hard to reach, but add budget constraints to an already long list of considerations, and the challenge of designing a new look for heavily used and long unaltered areas of the 8th floor becomes awesome! Ed Psych’s current Chair, Brad Brown, threw down the gauntlet before Sharon Brown and said something like, "Go forth and fix up this hell-hole!" | |
