Awarded August, 2002
In early March temperature was above freezing, and I was able to go detecting for the first time in 2003. The amount of clad coins represents 6 pennies, 20 nickels, 71 dimes and 31 quarters ($15.91) Two other days I hunted the same site and found a little over $20. The sterling .925 St. Christopher medal came from the same location. var site="sm3Caesar" This site is a member of WebRing. To browse visit here This site is a member of WebRing. M T M D C The Middle Tennessee Treasure Hunters Club was founded in 1971 by a small group of metal-detector enthusiasts. In 1983 the club changed its name to the Middle Tennessee Historical Research Association (MTHRA) in order to reflect the broader historical interests of many club members. We have now come full circle and in October of 1999 we changed our name to Middle Tennessee Metal Detecting Club. We realized that although many of our members do have historical research interests the name often confused folks who couldn't understand our primary purpose. Our club now has well over 100 members and is growing monthly in members who share our interests. It is our hope that you will find this site informative, educational and entertaining. We have included basic information about our group and sincerely invite anyone to attend our monthly meetings. We hope everyone understands that we cannot honor requests for taking folks detecting. We get several requests each week and although we would like to help, work and other commitments just do not allow this activity. Welcome to My Metal Detector Page
Treasure hunting in it's many forms is one of my favorite activities. Almost everyone as a child dreams of pirates and treasure, only difference is that I'm one of those people that never quite grew up enough to get those notions out of his head! This is my treasure hunting tool of choice, the White's XLT Spectrum Living in Fairbanks, Alaska presents some interesting treasure hunting opportunities. Welcome to my Treasure Hunting world, I hope you enjoy your visit.
