Research Subjects Deformation and fracture of advanced materials are studied by using experimental mechanics and computational mechanics. The main topics of research are as follows: 1. analysis of the mechanisms of thermal deformation and failure process of next-generation semiconductor devices, 2. investigation of the deformation and fracture mechanisms of polymeric biomaterials 3. development of new experimental devices and measuring techniques and their application 4. investigation of impact deformation and fracture behavior of advanced composite materials

This NCCE10 was conducted at The Embassader Hotel, Pattaya, and hosted by Department of Civil Engineering, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. MecMat cordially welcomes visiting students from Mahidol Witthayanusorn School - 29 July 2004 Highschool students from Mahidol Witthayanusorn School of Science and Technology will make a visit at MecMat Center on 29 July 2004.
