The staff have built up the Department's resources and facilities to support the research being carried out by themselves, research associates and graduate students. We also do collaborative work with industry and research associations.

The organization of studies, during the 3-year curriculum, is divided into units of 32 hours (theoretical or practical), some of wich are compulsory, others optional. These units range from basic and specialised sciences to humanities, foreign languages, sports, business administration, ...
Industrial internships or research projects are mandatory in the first (1 month as a worker), the second (3 months as an assistant-engineer) and the third years (4 to 6 months as an engineer).
20 % of third year students follows a DEA course together with their final year. Students may also complement their schooling by doing their final year in another of INPG's departments : ENSGI, or at the renowned National Institute of Nuclear Sciences and Techniques. International exchanges are developped : 30 % of ENSEEG's graduates have done part of their studies or a traineeship abroad ( the CLUSTER partners , Canada and the U.S are their favorite destinations). ENSEEG's laboratories welcome many foreigners as Ph.D. students.
