The League also supported adequate training and experience for teachers and administrators in public schools, studies of state teachers' colleges, use of public libraries, and better use of tax dollars in education. Legislation designed to maintain academic freedom by the repeal of the teachers' loyalty oath and the prevention of censorship of school books also received League support.
