NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE FACILITY NMR HOME SCHEDULING SAFETY INSTRUMENTS ... OTHER PROCESSING and ANALYSIS GUIDES Off-line Processing and Analysis of TecMag MacNMR Spectra A variety of software is available for processing and analyzing TecMag NMR data, but unfortunately not all support the older, MacNMR version that we have. As few of these programs are platform independent, you will need to choose the program which works for your operating system. NOTE: There are many other types of NMR-related software to assist in processing, analysis and simulation. See our Resources page for links to lists of these (both free and commercial products). Free Multi-Platform Software This is JEOL's spectrometer software, but it can import lots of other data formats, including Varian, Bruker and NMRpipe, amongst many others. So, if you can get your data into "NMRpipe format" (see below) you can use this software to process it. The program runs on Linux, Irix and Windows. matNMR , This is described as a highly flexible processing toolbox for NMR and EPR spectra which utilizes the MATLAB libaries (all platforms: UNIX, Windows and Mac). Although I have not tested its ability to read the TecMag MacNMR format, it is said to be able to read in binary FID's from most commercial spectrometers and to process any 1D or 2D spectrum. It uses an all GUI interface. You must have MatLab installed. | |
