One of the most visible ensembles at the University of Nebraska at Omaha is the Marching Mavs. This highly spirited ensemble performs at all UNO home football games in addition to at least one away game, Regional Marching Band Festivals, local university functions and at the annual River City Roundup Parade. In 2005, the band was selected to represent the state of Nebraska in the 55th Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington D.C. There is no audition required for membership in this ensemble, and scholarships are available for all participants, regardless of academic major. Attention band members!
