Two of the most popular dishes in Malta are Rabbit and Lampuka (coryphée). The rabbit may be eaten either fried or cooked in a casserole, and served with spaghetti. But they didn't. They fought the Greek. In fact, the Maltese language sounds very much like the dialect of Arabic spoken in Tunisia. Of course it received a lot of influence from Italian, Spanish, French and English, but nevertheless...
