Internet Resources for K-12 Government and Law Related Education
Introduction Teachers and students of U.S. government and law may begin their search on the Internet for supplemental material with sites generated by federal departments and agencies. Many government sites geared toward kids and teens do exist (see the FedStats Kids Page for a listing), but not all of them are necessarily helpful in teaching about how our government works. Furthermore, most of the information at government sites is intended for adult readers and is not suitable for younger audiences just starting to study government and law. Listed below are sites with information on government and law presented in a K-12 friendly format. At the end of the article, a small chart of additional resources includes pages found at the official sites for each of the three branches of government.
