About This Page The chary surfer will notice that we have included links on these pages to both sides of the Cuban conflict. This is a directory about Cuba and about Cubans wherever they live. We at Escape Artist try to be on the side of reason. We are also on the side of Cuban children everywhere. We hope they get to live in a world without governments of any kind ...and without the violence and hatred that all forms of government engender. - To our knowledge this is the only directory on the internet providing information on living in Cuba. Would anyone really want to live in Cuba? To be sure, many expatriates are already living in Cuba and living well. While we don't have a large list of listings for real estate and jobs in Cuba, from time to time we do get them. Worth checking out! Real Estate in Cuba - Current Property Listings

Latin-American TV brings new media vision
By Noelle Stout Published: Tuesday, April 15, 2003
For starters, one is English and the other Spanish. You regularly tune into one and probably skip over the other, if your cable company even provides it. One is NBC and the other Univisión. Despite their linguistic differences, both are major players in the American media market.
The reason is the lobbying power of Francisco Suarez, a 28-year-old sophomore television, radio and film major. He came to the United States from Venezuela two years ago, leaving his position at HBO Latin America to pursue a degree at the Newhouse school. He and other Latin-American students from Newhouse, the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and the College of Visual and Performing Arts formed the Latin American Television Students Organization last semester.
    Soap obsession
Latin Americans love their soap operas. They are part of the daily dialogue. They are social antiquities, literally.

Real Audio: How can I get this radio on the Web thing?
It's no secret that you can listen to radio on your computer. It's a blast, and it's really easy to do. Just go to http://www.real.com and follow the links to download the latest Real Media player. Install it. Start the Real Player once it's installed and click on any of the "preset" radio stations in the presets menu and you'll soon be listening to radio. For more and other stations, try the links at the end of this article or ask the Alta Vista search engine the question "Where can I listen to Real Audio?" What Computer Equipment do I need?
If you are a Macintosh user with anything as recent as a Quadra-series computer, chances are your computer has all the infrastructure needed to listen to Internet media, just plug in some speakers or try a pair of headphones. PC users need a reasonable sound card that complies with current standards, such as the sound cards from hardware manufacturers Creative Labs and Turtle Beach.
