    Spaces remain for TraveLearn trip to Italy Leaning Tower of Pisa 4:20 p.m., Feb. 3, 2005In cooperation with TraveLearn, a nationwide educational tour network, the University of Delaware is hosting a special trip to Italy led by Peter Rees, associate professor of geography, from June 11-21. "ItalyYesterday and Today" is the theme of this 11-day tour through Milan, Stresa, Verona, Venice, Pisa, Florence, Siena and Rome. Trip highlights include the famous La Scala Opera House; the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, which houses Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper; the great glass-working center of Murano; the Leaning Tower of Pisa; Michelangelo's statue of David; the Roman Forums and Colosseum; and Vatican City, with its outstanding museums and famous Sistine Chapel. Participants will see the canals of Venice from a gondola, the beauty of the Tuscan countryside, the history and grandeur of Rome and breathtaking cathedral architecture and art masterpieces throughout the trip.
