Messages from WebMiss NEW MESSAGE BOARD/FORUM DEBUTS! Erin's Web-Gaelic now has a new forum that we invite (and ask!) everyone to post on. It is located at: Erin's Web-Gaelic Forum . If we could move over to the new forum it would make everything a lot easier in keeping your posts organized under one "roof". I will, for a short time, move posts from the old board over to the new, but I won't be able to do that for a long period of time. I appreciate everyone's participation and involvement in the Irish Gaelic language! Let's go check out that new board * Please continue to post your messages/questions and Gaelic translations on our Irish Gaelic Message Board rather than email Webmiss directly. One of the many capable board members will be able to help you, and someone else might have the very same question!

During their history, the Celts gathered many names from the other tribes and cultures in Europe. The very word "Celt" comes from " Keltoi " (meaning "secret people"), which was the Ancient Greek name for the tribe. Regionally, the Celts who lived in the Iberian Peninsula were identified as
