The Dark Side of Diversity
Filed under: The Dark Side of Diversity By Rep. David Duke, PhD This photo and article was sent by my friends in Sweden. It shows a picture of a rape victim named Linda. She became one of the many Swedish recipients of multicultural enrichment at the hands of immigrants. In Sweden, a nation with a 10 percent non-European population, 80 percent of the rapes and practically 100 percent of gang rapes are committed by non-Europeans. Sweden has undergone a radical increase in non-Whites over just the last 20 years. With that demographic change, robbery, rape and murder have increased many fold. Gang rape, a crime unknown in Sweden 20 years ago is now commonplace. This vicious attack took place against two girls by a group of African immigrants. It happened in Gothenburg where I spoke earlier in the year. The two girls were on their way to a party and needed some directions. Thoroughly indoctrinated by the media to have no “racist” fears of Blacks they agreed to accompany them when they told the girls they knew the way. Instead of leading them to the party, they kidnapped and separated them, and savagely beat them. One girl was raped while the other badly injured girl feigned death and avoided rape.

End the Occupation of Iraq
BAMN recognizes that the struggle against racism is an international struggle The most important political event in the world today is the ongoing U.S. occupation of Iraq. An occupation of this kind, subjecting a predominantly Arab and Muslim people to the colonial-style rule of predominantly white and Christian powers is inevitably both profoundly undemocratic and racist in character. As a rising number of Iraqi civilians killed and the exposure of the abuse of prisoners in Abu Ghraib and other prisons have made clear, along with the threats to Islamic sacred sites, such a racist occupation is also inevitably becoming genocidal in character, both towards the peoples and the cultures of Iraq. The claim that such an occupation of Iraq could advance the cause of democracy or any other "liberation" of the Iraqi people is contradicted by the plain facts of the situation, which have now become obvious to people around the world.

  • The rebuilding of Iraq is the most far-reaching reconstruction enterprise since the efforts in Europe and Japan at the conclusion of World War II. The vast bulk of the civilian Iraq funding is being spent in rehabilitating physical infrastructure. About $730 million is now programmed for democracy, civil society, human rights, and refugees, including the Institute’s conflict management activities. So far, even in this area, the emphasis has been on the reconstruction of physical premises and infrastructure of civil society organizations (CSOs), with less money available for programs. Civil society organizations are nevertheless proliferating rapidly, creating a potentially large appetite for program funding.

"I am a professional optimist", Ralph Bunche told journalists at Nicosia International Airport at the conclusion of a visit in July 1966 to view the peacekeeping operations in Cyprus. "If I were not a professional optimist through 21 years in the United Nations service, mainly in conflict areasPalestine, Congo, here and in KashmirI would be crazy. You have to be optimistic in this work or get out of it.... That is, optimistic in the sense of assuming that there is no problemCyprus or any otherwhich cannot be solved, and that, therefore, you have to keep at it persistently and you have to have confidence that it can be solved." (1) Widely hailed, among his many accomplishments, as a great international civil servant, American and citizen of the world, Ralph Johnson Bunche's life story is one full of inspiration to all engaged in the pursuit of peace. As a year-long programme marking the 100th anniversary of his birth in Detroit, Michigan, commences to celebrate and build upon the legacy of this diplomat, scholar and internationalist, it is timely for the current staff of the United Nations, to which Ralph Bunche devoted 25 years of his spectacular career, to reflect on one of its most famous and optimistic alumni. A visible reminder of the esteem with which he is regarded within the United Nations and the City of New York is the Ralph Bunche Park located directly opposite the UN Secretariat building.

LAW OF ADMINISTRATION FOR THE STATE OF IRAQ FOR THE TRANSITIONAL PERIOD 8 March 2004 PREAMBLE The people of Iraq, striving to reclaim their freedom, which was usurped by the previous tyrannical regime, rejecting violence and coercion in all their forms, and particularly when used as instruments of governance, have determined that they shall hereafter remain a free people governed under the rule of law. These people, affirming today their respect for international law, especially having been amongst the founders of the United Nations, working to reclaim their legitimate place among nations, have endeavored at the same time to preserve the unity of their homeland in a spirit of fraternity and solidarity in order to draw the features of the future new Iraq, and to establish the mechanisms aiming, amongst other aims, to erase the effects of racist and sectarian policies and practices. This Law is now established to govern the affairs of Iraq during the transitional period until a duly elected government, operating under a permanent and legitimate constitution achieving full democracy, shall come into being.
