By: Frederick C. Kruse III
State Arms of the old Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin Hello and welcome to my Kruse Family home page. The earliest known Kruse, Marcus Kruse , my 7th great grandfather, was born about 1635 in Selow , Germany. The first known Kruse immigrants were four children of Johann Joachim Kruse , my great grand uncle; Johann, Friedrich, Wilhelmine, and Sophia. Johann's family sailed from Hamburg to New York on the ship Keplie in 1853, Fred's family and Wilhelmine Kruse Buller on the clipper ship John Bertram in 1857, and Sophia on the John Bertram in 1858. They settled around Wolcottsville, near Buffalo, in Royalton Township, Niagara County, New York. From New York, Johann's and Fred's families moved to Belle Plaine , Shawano County, Wisconsin in 1866. Following in 1869, on the steam ship Allemannia , were two more Kruses; my 2nd great grandmother, Maria Jenning Kruse and family, and Johann Joachim Kruse and family, along with a Schroeder and Thode families, and a

Y-DNA TEST PROVES THIS McANALLY IS A JACKSON
see Jackson Y-DNA Surname Project http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Jackson/
This home page contains family histories on the McAnally, Herndon, Halberstadt, Farley, Poe and Peterson surnames. Most of the action takes place in Indiana (Franklin and Sullivan Counties), Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio (Hamilton County) and South Dakota. The ancestors on my father's side have been researched for the most part back to the old country because much of the research had been done and all I did was connect to a relative in the family history. This was true for most of my pedigree chart except for my surname, McAnally. On my mother's side we have just discovered (December 2003) that the family lore about Albert Ingham changing his name to his mother's maiden name was true. He was an educated man from Connecticut and Martha Jane was an illiterate young girl from the hills of Kentucky who bore him thirteen children. Also just recently have determined that Martha's parents were Alford and Sarah E. Vaughn Collins.
Descendants of Peter Peterson that connects to my Peterson family has been transcribed by me into the Family Tree Maker format from an original family history done by B.F. Peterson and Bell McKeown of Philo, Illinois in 1924. I have chosen not to merge it with "My Family History" because of a 2000 individual limit in this web site format. Corrected some errors in transcribing 09/12/03.

Jessee and Elizabeth Savage Rich lived in Overton County, now Clay County, Tennessee. Jessee and Elizabeth Savage Rich had 14 children. The supporting family surnames are as follows: Abney, Asbridger, Bowman, Brown, Grace, Johnson, Hill, Holeman, Hooker, Martin, Reynolds, Savage, Skipworth, Upton, Waddle, Webb.
Jessee's brother, John,(1795-1871) took his family and settled in the Moss, TN area. He was married to Virginia Jane Peak and Rachel Pipkins. For more information on this Rich Family, contact Hilda Brown, 1200 Midway Road, Moss, TN 38575 and watch for new reports and family trees on this family.
We know that Jessee and John were not the only children of Willialm and Polly Hooker Rich. If you are a descendant from a Rich family in Monroe Co or Cumberland co , KY or Clay, Overton, Jackson, Frentress Co, TN, you are probably related to John and Jessee Rich.
We have discovered that the Jeremiah Rich living in Cumberland Co, KY in the early 1800's is also a brother of Jessee Rich.

About Our Family Research
This family is the Kyle family, formerly spelled Kile. The genealogy of this branch of the Kyle family is being initiated for the first time in the year 2001.
Only family members starting with Charles David Kyle, Sr. and subsequently are known with any certainty due to a divorce of Charles Sr's parents when he was a baby. For example, Charles Sr. never met his father, Everett, nor communicated with him.
Any information regarding any family branch member would be greatly appreciated, since so little is known at this time.
It is hoped information found herein will be useful to others and they are welcome to use it as their own. If you are a family member, feel free to drop me a line.
