  • Scope and Purpose: Managers are held accountable for the bottom line of their operations and must be able to measure their contributions and justify their requests. Accounting is the universal language of business, and as a key decision maker in your organization your success hinges on your ability to speak the "numbers" confidently. In this two-day program you'll learn the language, standard practices, and everyday applications of accounting as the terminology and principles are explained in a clear and straightforward manner. One day is dedicated to Financial Accounting (external reporting) and one to Managerial Accounting (internal reporting) to improve your skills in reading and analyzing financial statements and explaining concepts essential to setting financial targets, assessing financial performance, and evaluating strategies. Who Should Attend: The program is designed specifically for managers, supervisors, business owners, professionals, and executives from non-financial backgrounds.
