ÂOptical Solutions FiberPath system provides us with a cost-effective solution for delivering innovative services, such as high-speed symmetrical data and IPTV. Recently we used the FiberPath system to deploy telephone, IPTV and data services to the College of Southern Idaho, the canyon rim residential area and the Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls. The FiberPath 500 system is GPON standards compliant and offers superior bandwidth 1.2 Gbps downstream and 622 Mbps upstream for delivering bandwidth-consuming services such as Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) and symmetrical high-speed data services. GPON-based products also provide important Quality of Service (QoS) features that Ethernet PON systems can not offer.
