They generally include such positions as office support, technical support, trades and maintenance. Unclassified - Unclassified positions include instructional, research, and administrative appointments. Student - You must be a PSU student carrying a minimum credit hour class load to apply for these jobs. Temporary - Temporary positions are filled for the purpose of meeting emergency, nonrecurring or short-term workload. Employment is generally limited to no more than 1,040 hours in a twelve-month period. No benefits accrue to this type of an appointment. Graduate Assistantships - At this time, there is not a centralized posting for these positions. Check with the appropriate academic department for any openings.
