Who knows how to meet your educational needs better than those who are also educators? And what better classroom is there for developing educational textbooks and supplies than the environment of home school? The one-on-one method of home school teaching truly gets at the heart of what a child needs to learn. Home school teaching leaves no child behind and trains each child up in the way he or she was created to function. Our curricula and supplies are created by experienced home school teachers to be understandable for a multitude of students in each grade level. They produce incremental growth in skills and subject comprehension as well as measurable results. Our curricula also work to produce a whole brain learning experience so that a student is not left with lopsided skills leading to career handicaps in the future. We have superior products that work not only in the home school classroom, but in the private school classroom as well! Our dynamically prepared curriculum are also in touch with today's standards and can meet all of your home school or classroom needs. We do this by offering you two lines of curriculum that you can mix or match to insure your student's educational materials are keeping pace with his/her learning abilities. Our GRADESMART line gives you the assurance that you have exactly the right curriculum for the grade level that your student has reached. Our PACESETTER line gives you the flexability to introduce a subject that meets the unique educational pace of your student.

    • Quantitative skills are important in all economics specialties.
    • Employment of economists is expected to grow about as fast as the average; most new jobs will arise in private industry, including economic research and consulting firms.
    • Candidates who hold a master’s or Ph.D. degree in economics will have the best employment prospects and advancement opportunities.
Nature of the Work About this section Back to Top Economists study how society distributes scarce resources such as land, labor, raw materials, and machinery to produce goods and services. They conduct research, collect and analyze data, monitor economic trends, and develop forecasts. They research issues such as energy costs, inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, business cycles, taxes, or employment levels. Economists devise methods and procedures for obtaining the data they need. For example, sampling techniques may be used to conduct a survey, and various mathematical modeling techniques may be used to develop forecasts. Preparing reports, including tables and charts, on research results is an important part of an economist’s job. Presenting economic and statistical concepts in a clear and meaningful way is particularly important for economists whose research is directed toward making policies for an organization. Some economists might also provide economic analysis to the media.
