All material is in electronic form and access is generally free, except for some periodicals with a "moving wall", i.e., a certain delay period after which resources become freely available. The Electronic Library of Mathematics is supervised by the Electronic Publishing Committee of the European Mathematical Society (EPC-EMS). 134. What You Want To Know About PHYSICS
Summarizes in simple language, without advanced mathematics, the foundations of physics. The index gives direct access to selected topics.
    http://kr.cs.ait.ac.th/~radok/physics/
In 1935, this book summarized in simple language, that is, without advanced mathematics, the foundations of Physics for future students of Physics and people who were looking for information relating to their own activities. The index of all subsections gives direct access to selected topics. Although not a physicist, I have used over the years this book whenever I needed information. While it is not up to date, its presentation of the background material at the time of the research leading to the atom bomb and electronics is excellent. Some of the terminology may not be standard. I will be grateful for any comments. You can step forwards or backwards at the end of subdivisions; the first one is General Theory of Motion and Force (Mechanics) the last one Electron envelopes of nuclear atom, their properties and structure (Bohr 1913) You can also search this section using the following quick search, or use advanced search at the end of this page
Quick Search: I also would like to know whether anyone would be interested in obtaining a CD, on which the over 1000 images are not thumbnails; they were introduced for faster service on the WWW. 140. Constructive Mathematics
Constructive mathematics is distinguished from its traditional counterpart, classical mathematics, by the strict interpretation of the phrase `there exists' as `we can construct'. In order to work constructively, we need to reinterpret not only the existential quantifier but all the logical connectives and quantifiers as instructions on how to construct a proof of the statement involving these logical expressions. 1. Introduction
Before mathematicians assert something (other than an axiom) they are supposed to have proved it true. What, then, do mathematicians mean when they assert a disjunction P Q , where P and Q P Q hold, but also we can decide which one holds. Thus just as mathematicians will assert that P only when they have decided that P by proving it, they may assert P Q P or decide (prove) that Q With this interpretation, however, mathematicians run into a serious problem in the special case where Q P , of P P is to show that P implies a contradiction (such as 0=1). But it will often be that mathematicians have neither decided that
