121. SatireWire | RELIGIOUS MERGER CREATES 900 MILLION HINJEWS
Hinjew leaders today conceded the merger of hinduism and Judaism has not worked out as planned, as instead of forming a superreligion to fight off the common Islamic enemy, they had instead created a race of 900 million people who, no matter how many times they are reincarnated, can never please their mothers.

RELIGIOUS MERGER CREATES 900 MILLION HINJEWS
Attainment of Nirvana Still Goal, But Not So Important
That You Should Miss Cousin Vijay's Bar Mitzvah New Delhi, India (SatireWire.com) Military officers, in particular, have found assimilation difficult. "We were all excited at first, especially about the Kama Sutra parts, but it's not going to work," Israeli Col. Benyamin Telluk said at a joint press conference with Indian officers. "I mean, just this morning, I was showing Col. Bhadrak here pictures of my family, and he said my wife was a cow." "I said his wife reminds me of a cow," Bhadrak explained. "Oh, you've said it again!" screamed Telluk. "It's a compliment!" answered Bhadrak. Hinjews across the world, meanwhile, said they also were too busy dealing with integration to worry about Pakistanis, Palestinians, or any other opponents. "Surprisingly, it's not the big issues, like is there one God or are there many? It's the little things," said New York City Hinjew Nathan Feldman. "Like my Hindu half acknowledges that this world is full of suffering, but my Jewish half just goes on and on about it."

hinduism recognizes thousands of lessor Gods that all come under the hinduism also recognizes the devine avatars, Godrealized beings living on Earth.
http://www.crystalinks.com/hindu.html
Hinduism is the world's third largest religion with over five hundred million followers. It began in India. Presently over two-thirds of its followers live in India. It is believed that Hinduism goes back over four thousand years and is the oldest of all religions. According to Hindu doctrine, the ideal life consists of four stages: 1. The period of descipline and education
2. The life of the householder and active worker
3. The retreat for the loosening of the bonds
4. The life of the hermit, preparing for death and union with God. In homes where Hinduism is practiced there is generally a room or corner of a room for worship called puja where there are pictures of a statue of a particular God. Hinduism recognizes thousands of lessor Gods that all come under the umbrella of the one God Brahman. Hinduism also recognizes the devine avatars, God-realized beings living on Earth. A Comparative Analysis
"Do not hate your enemy for he may one day become your friend" ~ Ali (ra) "Somebody ought to tell the truth about the Bible. The preachers dare not, because they would be driven from their pulpits. Professors in colleges dare not, because they would lose their salaries. Politicians dare not. They would be defeated. Editors dare not. They would lose subscribers. Merchants dare not, because they might lose customers. Men of fashion dare not, fearing that they would lose caste. Even clerks dare not, because they might be discharged. And so I thought I would do it myself . . . " Robert G. Ingersoll "God sacrificed his own son in place of humans who needed to be punished for their own sins might make some Christians love Jesus, but is an obcene picture of God. It is almost heavenly child abuse, and may infect out imagination at more earthly levels as well. I do not want to express my faith through a theology that pictures God demanding blood sacrifices in order to be reconciled to us." (page 145-146) and "Actually, the fact that we have four gospels lies at the very heart of our problem. Because we read particular parables or sayings or stories in several different versions, we can't miss the disagreements between them"

Sites In the "Encyclopedia of New Age Beliefs," John Ankerberg and John Weldon state that in many respects the philosophy of the New Age Movement parallels that of Hinduism. In addition, there are scores of modern religious cults and sects that have been influenced by Hinduism to varying degrees. They also point out that ... literally millions of Americans have taken up Hindu practices, such as yoga, meditation, developing altered states of consciousness, and seeking Hindu "enlightenment." Hinduism Defined Weldon and Ankerberg write: In its most simple definition, Hinduism may be defined as the religious beliefs and practices common to India. Defining Hinduism in a more precise manner is difficult because of its wide number of practices and teachings. To illustrate this, here are selected definitions from authoritative sources. Hinduism is The Way of the majority of the people of India, a Way that is a combination of religious belief, rites, customs, and daily practices, many of which appear overtly secular but in most cases have religious origins and sanctions. Hinduism is noted as being the only one of the major beliefs that cannot be defined, for any definition is inadequate, contradictory, and incomplete.

Contact Us Christian Response to Hinduism The differences between Hinduism and Christianity are vast. Having read numerous stories of people who have left Hinduism for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I’ve identified that a common theme runs through their stories. These people left a life of hopelessness, where they were dependent on their own works to escape from samsara, to a life of hope and assurance of their salvation. They left their millions-in-one impersonal gods, and found the one true God of the universe, who cares intimately for each one of them. For this reason, it is important to identify the most basic differences between Hinduism and Christianity.

Contact Us Hinduism Hinduism is among the most ancient of the eastern religions, and one that has had a profound influence on western civilization. Over the years, it has given birth to other cults and religious movements. Buddhism started as an offshoot of Hinduism. Today, the New Age Movement, Transcendental Meditation, Wicca, and many forms of pagan worship are offspring of Hinduism. Hinduism is a religion of varied interpretations, practices, and doctrines. One cannot say, “This is the Hindu orthodoxy, from which there is no deviation.” There are, however, certain commonalities, which we will explore.

137. HINDUISM - LoveToKnow Article On HINDUISM
An article from the first edition published in 1911.
http://95.1911encyclopedia.org/H/HI/HINDUISM.htm
HINDUISM
HINDUISM 1 The effect of caste is to give all Hindu society a religious hasis. Sir A. C. Lyall, Bra hmanism. The first point to observe is the predominance throughout India of the influence of the traditional system of four original castes. In every scheme of grouping the Brahman heads the list. Then come the castes whom popular opinion accepts as the modern representatives of the Kshatriyas; and these are followed by the mercantile groups supposed to be akin to the Vailyas. When we leave the higher circles of the twice-born, the difficulty of finding a uniform - basis of classification becomes apparent. The anc ent designation Sudra finds no great favor in modern times, and we can point to no group that is generally recognized as representing it. The term is used in Bombay, Madras and Bengal to denote a considerable number of castes of moderate respectability, the higher of whom are considered clean Sudras, while the precise status of the lower is a question which lends itself to endless controversy. Thus the table of social precedence attached to the Cochin report shows that while a Nayar can pollute a man of a higher caste only by touching him, people of the Kammalan group, including masons, blacksmiths, carpenters and woi-kers in leather, pollute at a distance of 24 ft., toddy-drawers at 36 ft., Pulayan or Cheruman cultivators at 48 ft., while in the case of the Paraiyan (Pariahs) who eat beef the range of pollution is no less than 64 ft.
