News :- Chris Jones (14) son of Pam and Clive Jones at CJ Scooters, in Droitwich, was sadly fatally injured on the start line at the recent 2005 August Bank Holiday motorcycle meeting. Chris was a star at only 14 and had secured a Moto GP ride for 2006. His ability was apparent from early days and this young rider was a motorcycle champion in the making. Pam and Clive have been good friends of Scootering for a long time and we extend our deepest sympathies to them, their family, friends, and fellow competitors, on their sad loss. 2003 Student Ambassador Trip: Great Britain and Ireland
Last September I got a letter in the mail inviting me to attend an informational meeting about the People to People Student Ambassador Program. I had been invited to the meeting the year before also, but couldn't go on the trip because of the money. I told myself then that if the next trip was to Ireland I was going no matter what. So I went to the meeting last year and found my area would be traveling to Great Britain and Ireland in the summer of 2003! Wow! I took this as a sign that I was meant to be an Ambassador for my country, state, and community. Through hard work, dedication, and tons of pop can drives, I made my dream come true. I designed this site to inform others of the People to People Student Ambassador Program and my incredible, once in a life experience. Please take time to look over everything on this site. I hope you will see what an incredible program is being offered for kids like me to help promote peace throughout the world. We are changing the world everyday; one trip, one student at a time. ~ Tesha Galla Here are some links I found helpful when I was researching the countries I would be attending: http://www.genealogyweb.com/Irishculture.html
