Personal Bios of Some of our Residents and Faculty
Our residents and faculty have a strong commitment to medicine and a wide variety of other interests. We thought you might enjoy getting to know some of the people in our division on a more personal basis. Jeremy Long, MD Larry Feinberg, M.D. is a professor of medicine who practices general internal medicine at UCHSC. He is married to Margie. They have two children; daughter Jane pursuing graduate degree in International Studies and son David, recent graduate of film school at NYU. Larry enjoys hiking, an occasional round of golf, movies and music, including two years as a beginning cello student. Holly Batal, M.D. is a general internist in the Denver Health system. Although some would say that her work is her life, she has many outside interests. Holly states that the ability to travel the world has really allowed her to appreciate all that she has. In the last 12 months Holly has traveled to seven different countries on four different continents. In addition to travel, she enjoys spending time with her three nieces. Children always seem to have a unique way of putting everything into perspective. Lastly, she enjoys time just reading for pleasure rather than work. When traveling she tends to read mostly nonfiction works that relate to the history and culture of wherever she is. However, when in Denver Holly enjoys the escape that she gets from fiction.
