Introduction This site is intended to pull together various items of genealogical or historical interest that I have gathered over the years. A lot of it is derived from family papers, other sources are acknowledged on the relevant pages. Where appropriate, information has been obtained from the 1851, 1861,1881, 1891 and 1901 United Kingdom, 1870 and 1880 US and 1881 Canadian Censuses.
