As in all courses in French at Dickinson, our primary focus will be to develop cross-cultural understanding. This class makes use of multi-media and interactive computer strategies to refine your communicative and cultural skills. The main goal of this course is therefore to help you perfect your basic command of the structure of French as you come to be familiar with some important aspects of French culture. Moreover, since class meets every day, attendance is of the utmost importance and is absolutely essential to your progress. This is an immersion course that moves very quickly.
