Freemasonry Declaration on Masonic Associations (Quaesitum est)
English Translation of a Latin Document from the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith November 26, 1983
It has been asked whether there has been any change in the Church's decision in regard to Masonic associations since the new Code of Canon Law does not mention them expressly, unlike the previous code.
This sacred congregation is in a position to reply that this circumstance is due to an editorial criterion which was followed also in the case of other associations likewise unmentioned inasmuch as they are contained in wider categories.
Therefore, the Church's negative judgment in regard to Masonic associations remains unchanged since their principles have always been considered irreconcilable
with the doctrine of the Church and, therefore, membership in them remains forbidden. The faithful, who enroll in Masonic associations are in a state of grave
sin and may not receive Holy Communion.

Masonic Doctrine -vs. The Word of God
What is a Mason? What do they do? These are just a couple of questions you may
ask. Most people know them to be a fraternal order of men that is usually
involved in good civic activities, such as the Shriner's collecting money for the
children's hospital. However, very little is known to the non-Mason, about what
the Masons believe or what they do behind closed doors. Most Masons have
never read some of the sources cited in the following. All of these Masonic
sourcebooks are in the libraries of most local Lodges and the libraries of the
Grand Lodges of the states. Let us further state that there are a lot of well
meaning men and professing Christian men who are members of the Masonic
lodges in small town America, and many never advance beyond the Blue Degrees.

164. The Masonic Lodge And The Christian Conscience
Reprint of an article by John Weldon that first appeared in the Winter 1994 issue of the Christian Research Journal explaining why freemasonry is inconsistent with biblical teaching despite a decision by the 1993 Southern Baptist Convention to allow its members to join the Lodge.
http://www.equip.org/free/DM166.htm
STATEMENT DM-166
THE MASONIC LODGE AND THE CHRISTIAN CONSCIENCE
by John Weldon Summary
The Masonic Lodge in America is a highly influential organization claiming some four million members. Masonic leaders argue the lodge is not a religion but merely a fraternal body that seeks to better society and also assist the Christian church. It does this, they claim, by helping Christians become better members of their own faith.
The truth is that Masonry is a distinct religion that espouses teachings incompatible with Christian faith in the areas of God, salvation, and other important doctrines. It is therefore inconsistent for any Christian to swear the oaths of Masonry to uphold and support the Lodge when Masonry's own ritual, doctrines, and impact in history have denied and opposed biblical teaching.
This is so despite the 1993 recommendation of the Southern Baptists at their annual convention that membership in the Lodge can be left to the Christian's individual conscience. "Because of your support, the vote of the Southern Baptist Convention is a historic and positive turning point for Freemasonry. Basically, it is a vitalization of our Fraternity by America's largest Protestant denomination after nearly a year of thorough, scholarly study. At the same time, it is a call to renewed effort on the part of all Freemasons today to re-energize our Fraternity and move forward to fulfilling its mission as the world's foremost proponent of Brotherhood of Man under the Fatherhood of God." Pierre Plantard's Criminal Convictions - A Chronology

Welcome to the Priory-of-Sion.com website that provides the salient facts about both the Priory of Sion and Rennes-le-Château. Find out all the essential information about the Abbé Bérenger Saunière and Pierre Plantard here! Was the Abbé Bérenger Saunière really wealthy and did he discover a treasure and parchments or was he just another French priest? Was Pierre Plantard The answers to these questions can all be found on this website.
Bérenger Saunière’s "wealth" is a myth that first originated during the mid-1950s. Saunière’s entire estate was only valued at 18,000 Francs by the Credit Foncier de France in 1913 when Saunière had asked it for a loan because by that time he did not have enough money to even buy food. This was not the first time that Abbé Saunière had asked for a loan in order to eat.

I. PRELIMINARY CONSIDERATIONS
1. Masonry and Other Secret Organizations
2. Is Reliable Information Available?
An objection frequently raised to any study of secret orders by non-members takes the form of the statement: You cannot get any reliable information. It may be said categorically that, in the case of the major orders, particularly the Order of Free and Accepted Masons, this statement is not correct. Reliable information concerning all points of major importance, and concerning many others that are not important, is accessible to any who will make a proper study of the matter. The so-called secrets of Masonry constitute only a portion of the total activity of the order. The general ideals of Masonry and the history and philosophy of the order have been developed by numerous Masonic and non-Masonic writers in books designed for the general public as well as for Masons. Of course, even Masonic writers do not always agree fully with one another about these matters, but that is true of any field of research. On the whole the agreement among them is striking.

Cervantes: Freemasonry
By Ding Cervantes
(Part I)
THERE is a growing number of people around us getting a little more flamboyant about their being members of Freemasonry. I have seen not a few of them driving cars with specialized plates marked either "masonry" or "mason" and it is not surprising to meet someone who'd admit he's a member of the movement and glow with delight with such disclosure.
What, really, is freemasonry? How did it start?
Despite the belief of the common freemasons you meet that their movement started way back in the days of the Old Testament, historical records seem to point that its emergence as a united society of some kind started in 1773 in Frankfurt, Germany when one Mayor Amschel Rothschild assembled 12 of his most influential Jewish friends whom he later referred to as the "elders of Zion" to convince them that if they got their resources together, they could rule the world. He told them he had found someone - Adam Weishaupt - who had incredible intellect and ingenuity to lead the organization.
Funded by Rothschild and guided by a mysterious occultist named Kolmer, Weishaupt founded on May 1, 1776 the "Ancient and Illuminated Seers of Bavaria" which later came to be known as the "Order of the Illuminati." It was to direct a worldwide attack on all religion and government. It wanted a Universal Republic or a New World Order.

The Real Matrix: Freemasonry
There is more to this "Clever System" than meets the eye. It is called "Freemasonry." Freemasonry is linked to Satanism, however, not all Masons are evil or have evil intentions . In fact, a majority of them are mislead and kept in the dark as to what the true agenda is. Superior Masons deliberately lie to their fellow Masons, as those Masons "deserve to be mislead." Explanations given to 95% of all Masons are wrong. Listen to this quote from a Masonic author, Carl Claudy : " Cut through the outer shell and find a meaning; cut through that meaning and find another; under it, if you dig deep enough, you may find a third, a fourth who shall say how many teachings? " So we see that Freemasonry deliberately misleads its members. This behavior of course, is not limited to just members of FreeMasonry, it extends to the entire human race. Freemasonry is a worship of Lucifer by the top 5% of all Masons. You can spot evidences of Satanism all over the world. There are numerous Masonic/Satanic symbols on this web site, all of which originate from this secret society called, " The Brotherhood of the Serpent/Snake.

October 2, 1857 - May 19, 1943 English Christian mystic and writer on masonic and occult subjects, he wrote A New Encyclopaedia of Freemasonry : Their Rites, Literature, and History and Emblematic Freemasonry. A large collection of his writings and letters is in the Iowa Grand Lodge Library, Ceder Rapids. USA.
His name is often linked with Wica Wynn Westcott, Aleister Crowley MacGregor Mathers , and Theodor Reuss Waite was received into the Golden Dawn in January 1891 although his attendance and involvement was sporadic. Entering the The Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia (SRIA) in April, 1902, Waite precipitated a schism in the Golden Dawn the following year. He purged magic from the rituals, replacing it with mysticism. This society, the Independent and Rectified Rite of the Golden Dawn, was soon torn by further feuds and was dissolved by Waite in 1914, to be replaced by the Fellowship of the Rosy Cross in 1915. By this time there were some half dozen offshoots of the Original Golden Dawn, Waite's version being a minor note in the main theme continued by the Order of the Stella Matutina of non-mason, Dr. R. W. Felkin. Initiated: September 19, 1901

WHAT IS FREEMASONRY
Freemasonry is the oldest and largest world wide fraternity dedicated to the Brotherhood of Man under the Fatherhood of a Supreme Being. Although of a religious nature, Freemasonry is not a religion. It urges its members, however, to be faithful and devoted to their own religious beliefs. The organization of Freemasonry is based on a system of Grand Lodges, each sovereign within its own territory. There is no central authority governing all Grand Lodges. However, to be acknowledged by others, acceptable traditions, standards and practices must be maintained. In our Province the governing body is called the Grand Lodge of Canada in the Province of Ontario. It is under the leadership of a Grand Master. He presides over the 57,861 Masons who belong to one or more of the 611 lodges in our jurisdiction. Each of these lodges is under the direction of a Master. WHAT IT DOES As a fraternity, Freemasonry provides an opportunity for men to meet and enjoy friendly companionship. In the spirit of helpfulness and brotherly love and guided by strict moral principles it encourages goodwill toward all mankind. Freemasonry is of a personal nature in its private ceremonies. Its ritual dramatizes a philosophy of life based on morality. It promotes self improvement. The tools of operative masons are used to symbolize and teach the basic principles of brotherly love, charity, and truth which Masons are encouraged to practice in their daily lives. Charity is a tangible way in which Masons help those whose circumstances in life fairly warrant it.

IT'S TIME TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
So, how can you make a difference? People inherently feel better when they know what they're doing is, in fact, making a difference. Not just a difference in their own lives, either, but other lives too. What is your goal in life? What drives you to face a new day every day? Some will find their lives reduced to nothing more than living to simply exist. Is this the way God intended for us to live? Just to exist? I think you'll agree that there is more to life than that. Sometimes people get lost in their quest to find out what life is all about and need a little guidance to help them find that elusive goal.
