Freemasonry in Israel
Freemasonry is the world's oldest universal fraternity, which believes in the brotherhood of man under the Fatherhood of G-d. Freemasonry strives to achieve moral improvement, family values, civic betterment, freedom of thought, and tolerance. Freemasons around the world volunteer and contribute to medical research, hospitals, homes for the elderly, scholarships, and many other charitable causes. Simply put, Freemasons believe that it is OK to be a good person, and that good persons should encourage each other to become better persons, and then, regardless of economic resources, work together benevolently to help in the community. Based on these strong foundations of morality and conscience, it is not surprising that Freemasonry is the world's largest philanthropic institution, seeking to provide relief for suffering humanity. Freemasonry is a fraternity, absolutely not a secret society. As such, it is open for membership applications and has modes of recognition. Freemasonry is definitely not a religious cult or political group; Freemasons do never discuss religion or politics. Yet, membership strictly requires belief in G-d. Furthermore, Freemasons are expected to be model citizens, faithful followers of their respective religions, and loyal patriots of their respective countries.

44. Freemasonry: The Witchcraft Connection
As all students of freemasonry know, that grisly oath is but the beginning The resemblances between freemasonry and Witchcraft are manifold and striking
http://www.saintsalive.com/freemasonry/fmwitchcraft.htm
Freemasonry: The Witchcraft Connection by William J. Schnoebelen William Schnoebelen was deeply involved in both Witchcraft as a Wiccan high priest and the Masonic order for many years. He was a Mason for nine years and a Witch for sixteen years. In the Lodge, he held offices of Junior Warden in the Blue Lodge, Prelate in the Commandery of the York Rite, Master of the Veil in the Royal Arch degree, and Associate Patron in the Order of the Eastern Star. Additionally, he was a 32° Mason and a Shriner. He is now a Born Again Christian and the author of 5 books, including Masonry: Beyond the Light. In understanding the spiritual difficulties of a Born Again Christian being a Mason, it is necessary to realize that there are highly occult elements woven into the very warp and woof of Freemasonry. Thus, the Lodge is not just "another religion" like the Muslims or the Buddhists—although that alone should be enough to keep Christians from involving themselves in it. The nature and character of the Lodge’s deepest theological underpinnings are rooted in Witchcraft and Paganism. Now that may be an astonishing assertion to some, especially to most Masons. However, it is very easily proven. Few people, within the Craft of Masonry or otherwise, perceive that just because a Bible lies open on the altar and Bible verses and characters play an important part in the ritual of the Lodge, that this does not prevent the Lodge from being of the nature of the occult or Witchcraft.

Nothing seems to cause as much dispute among American Freemasons as the subject of recognition and regularity (with the possible exception of race and freemasonry). Yet masons need more facts to understand these subject. The purpose of this article is to provide some of these facts about the recognition of French grand lodges by United States grand lodges in the 1900s, and to suggest questions for further thought and research.

The following instruction sets out guidance governing the membership by members of the armed forces of societies such as freemasons: there is no intention or policy to preclude service personnel from membership of any lawful and benevolent organisation. However, involvement in organisations of a secretive nature, such as the freemasons, carries with it the risk of establishing disparate loyalties which may have a destabilising influence on the chain of command, not least by the perception of preferential treatment and undue influence. While membership of such organisations is clearly a matter for the individuals concerned, serving personnel should not encourage or promote membership amongst their colleagues, meetings should not be held on MOD premises, and use should not be made of any MOD property.

Past and present of Freemasons in Finland. Locations of local lodges.

Origins and development
During the Middle Ages church builders organised themselves into various guilds in accordance with their particular trades. With the dawn of modern history the number of men involved in the building of castles, monasteries and cathedrals began to fall. In place of these operative builders' guilds new associations founded by individuals outside the building trade began to appear. Originating in the British Isles, these so-called speculative guilds were to become known as Freemasons. They met in their own buildings which were termed `lodges´. A number of English Freemasonry lodges came together to establish a central organisation in 1717, namely the Grand Lodge in London. At the same time they agreed upon a common set of principles. This is now viewed as constituting the birth of the modern Freemasonry movement. Already in the earlier operative guilds attention was paid not only to the professional skills of members but also to their spiritual development. Old traditions were preserved within the new Freemasons' lodges through the use of phrases relating to building terminology. However, this use of language came to symbolise spiritual ideas. Having thus emerged from origins dating from the Middle Ages, Freemasonry was in the 18th Century carried around the world by soldiers, merchants, seafarers and other free men.

This section of our web site is devoted to the study of Freemasonry. What is it? What do they say about their own beliefs and are they compatible with Christianity. You will be shocked by what you read about the occult nature of this organization and it's New World Order Connections. 2 John 1:7
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. (KJV) Freemasonry requires that it's members confess a belief in a supreme being. Any one will do!

49. "Fundamentals Of Freemasonry" By Norman Williams Crabbe
An essay by Norman Williams Crabbe that describes the basic structure of freemasonry and its esoteric characteristics.
http://www.theosophy-nw.org/theosnw/world/modeur/ph-crabb.htm
Fundamentals of Freemasonry
By Norman Williams Crabbe, MPS Freemasonry uses allegorical symbols to teach a philosophy concerning the nature of the Creator, the origins of the universe, and humanity's universal destiny. The religious doctrines in which most people are raised are designed to satisfy the basic needs of the general population. To get a truer understanding of the nature of Deity requires a long-term commitment of study. The Freemasonic initiate is put on the path of this study by being initiated into the fraternity of Masonry, a Westernized religious Mystery school. If the initiate studies the ritual, he will receive, proportionate to his ability to understand, deep mystic revelations regarding the nature of the universe and our mystic journey through it. Freemasonry keeps alive this knowledge from generation to generation until such time as it is understood and accepted by all beings. Though dealing exclusively with religious themes, Freemasonry is not a religion: no one dogma is professed as being particularly Masonic. Nor is the Masonic Lodge a place of worship; it would be better considered a classroom. Freemasonry "teaches" an occult philosophy to lead the initiate towards the essence of religious thought. All that is required of the initiate is an expressed belief in higher intelligence (God); therefore, no atheist can become a Mason. Religions in and of themselves are made by mankind to explain Deity. Freemasons come in all colors and nationalities and may worship Jehovah, Jesus, Mohammed, or Krishna, to name a few.

53. Freemasonry Is A Non-Christian Occult Religion
Why Masonry is incompatible with Christianity, partial list of denominationswhich have condemned freemasonry, further links.
http://www.godonthe.net/cme/links/masons.htm
Freemasonry is a Non-Christian
Occult Religion
Freemasonry goes by many names, including the Scottish Rite, Masonry, Blue Lodge, Eastern Star (for women), and Shriners. Historically, Masonry has had a strong unifying effect on the American black community. Many people who consider themselves Christians, both black and white, are Masons. Most people, even many Masons incorrectly believe that Masonry is merely a fraternal order, like the Lions Club, Elks Club, etc. Masonry expressly denies it is a religion. Nothing could be further from the truth. Freemasonry is a non-Christian occult religion that teaches a different way to salvation and considers Jesus, Buddha, Confucius, and all spiritual leaders to be only messengers of "The Grand Architect of the Universe". The Grand Architect is not just another term for Jehovah. Freemasonry teaches that there are two basic Gods: Adonay, the god of the Christians , a god of evil and Lucifer , a separate god of good Freemasonry considers the religious scriptures of all religions to be equally valid. Masonry has at least 33 degrees (the lowest is level 1). At each level, a person is given more details, more Masonic 'truth'. Most Masons never get beyond the first few levels.

I am appalled, I am bound to say, by the unsolicited material that has been sent to me...prior to this debate. What beggars my imagination is the way in which anyone, for whatever sort of malicious or neurotic or malicious [sic] reason, who writes anything denouncing freemasonry is assumed by some to be telling the truth. They are not. We have seen it in public life and we have seen it here. The Church should be different.... I am ashamed when fellow Christians are so gullible and so uncharitable, and that is putting it charitably.
