Freemasonry:
A secret fraternal order of Free and Accepted Masons, spread by the British Empire, with actually 5 million members; 3 million in the USA, with 250,00 on the black "Prince Hall" Masonry (rejected by many white lodges). Some Masons define it as "a beautiful system of morality veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols" ... also as "the realization of God by the practice of Brotherhood" : To reach God by doing good works to your neighbor... ... It has been described as "the biggest, richest, most secret and most powerful private force in the world". .. and certainly, "the most deceptive" , both for the general public, and for the first 3 degrees of "initiates": Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft, and Master Mason (the basic "Blue Lodge")...
These Initiates are purposely deceived!, in believing they know every thing, while they don't know anything about the true Masonry... in the words of

The Impact of Freemasonry
on Elizabethan Literature
The enthusiasm among Renaissance men for classical and Hebrew texts brought in its train a revival, and encouraged a sophisticated and creative apprehension, of numerous mystical, alchemical, hermeticist and occultist tendencies. But it was a revival that inevitably encountered resistance from powerful vested interests, especially in theological circles. Compelled to adopt strategies for survival, seekers after "higher truths" sought immunity from reprisal and persecution in the sub-culture of the occult "underground". Thus the secret society began to proliferate. Early in the 16th century Henry Cornelius Agrippa visited England and his friends among the Oxford Humanists - John Colet and Thomas More in particular. Some academics have deduced from his own words that he formed a society in England at this time ( circa I am led to believe that there still exist "Books of Shadows" (membership books) of witches' covens, for which the earliest entries date back to the 16th century.

The Question of Freemasonry
by Harmon R. Taylor
INTRODUCTION
The question of the Christian stand regarding Freemasonry seems to confront our ministry at every turn lately. I have had to come to grips with the sad fact that the esoteric doctrines of Freemasonry separate it, just as unequivocally as do those of Mormonism, from Christian theology. This holds true for every branch of Masonry from the Shriners to the Blue Lodge, the Eastern Star, Demolay, Job's Daughters and the Rainbow Girls! It holds true for the Scottish rite or York rite!

Rosicruciana in Canada Revised December 8, 2000 Instituted June 29, 1997 Fraternal Associations, Fraternal Orders and Freemasonry by M.W. Frater Dr. Claude Brodeur IX o , SRIC 1. Introduction 1.1 A Millennium of Change We are now living in a time-warp, the transition from the 2nd to the 3rd Millennium. The 2nd Millennium has been a millennium of profound and incredible change. The earth's population has increased from 263 million to more than five and a half billion, projected to soon become 8.7 billion. In the last thousand years, many lands were discovered and settled by Europeans; North American Nations were constituted; and waves of Asian and African settlers joined Europeans in immigrating to many continents. During the same period the great Cathedrals of Europe were built and rebuilt; present-day Western-type Universities were founded in Europe and thence spread throughout the world; and great European empires were created and destroyed. There are now enormously large incorporated cities spread throughout the world, more than 50 megalopolises in all. 1.2 Scientific and Technological Changes

  • Introduction The Hoodwinking The Occult Revival
    Introduction
T he article located at this URL , and earlier at Geocities, was first written 4 years ago. Since then I have learned a bit more about Freemasonry and have had many communications, good and bad, with its members. I've been put on an "anti-mason" [hit]list , along with others who dare to write anything unflattering against the brethren; I've had heated debates and arguments in public forums and message boards; and I've actually been threatened, both subtly and overtly. Curiously, many times the offended Mason claims to be a chaplain, a minister or a supposed "man of cloth," a real surprise, at first, considering the occult nature of the organization. The negative experiences far outweigh the positive. The members who regularly post to forums and send out emails display the traits of one who's been thoroughly brainwashed by a first-class cult. Some are far more clever, however, and are undoubtedly part of a concerted effort by

History of Freemasonry
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
There are very few incontrovertible facts about the origins of Freemasonry . Probably the single most significant event was the formation of the first Grand Lodge in London in . Working backwards from that time, the following facts or landmarks stand out: And that is as far back as documented history goes. Harry Carr , a noted masonic historian, was probably alluding to this when he said it all began with the formation of the London Masons Company in 1356. From that date forward the history of Freemasonry is comparatively well established and there is increasing documentary evidence to support its gradual evolution. The Craft that evolved into modern Freemasonry emerged in the period between the Black Death , and the Wars of the Roses . Before that date there are no trends or events that can be identified as leading definitely towards Freemasonry. It appears to have emerged from the building industry as a whole. Equally, there is no part of England that can claim the honour of originating Freemasonry. The later pre-eminence of London was not apparent at that era. The
