The chief purpose of this site is to answer the question, "Where can I dance?" to attend an open event, to take a course, or. in some cases, join a troupe. My interest is in participatory dancing, although you will also find some links here to organizations that perform or promote folk dancing, and also to a few musical bands that play for dances. Children's International Dance Classes
We have two dance classes for children in the Bognor Regis area. One is an after school dance class at North Mundham Primary School and the other, held in central Bognor, is open to all. We welcome children at every level - one of the advantages of international dance is that there is a huge range of styles and music - the children never get bored. The repertoire is chosen with children in mind and includes English, Scottish, European, Balkan, Oriental and Polynesian for fun filled dance lessons.
    The Display Team
We have an amateur display team that tour a selection of village fetes in West Sussex in the summer, dancing in various regional costumes. This includes adults who practice together at agreed times (usually at Barnham). This year the display team will be forming part of the Society for International Folk Dancing (SIFD) group appearing as part of the CCPR Show at the Albert Hall. Next year we are planning a Greek theme.
