Answer:
Question 2: How are you transmitting the images and sounds from Crane Cam onto the Web? What kind of mikes and equipment are you using? Answer: A gasoline-powered generator is run for up to eight hours a day, providing the electricity needed to run the operation by charging two deep-cycle marine batteries. This generator is run during the day when the cranes are not present, and is surrounded by bales of hay to help dampen the sound. The generator is on land about 30 yards from the island with the camera. The two are connected by an extension cord strung between steel poles. (Crane Cam engineer Mark Christmas contributed to this answer.)

Mazda's Not-So-Fine Print
Mazda Motor of America of Irvine, California, will pay a total of $5.25 million for alleged violations of a Federal Trade Commission order and state orders related to lease advertising for its cars and trucks. Under an agreement reached in October, Mazda will pay $4.05 million in civil penalties for allegedly violating a February 1997 FTC order. It was the largest civil penalty ever obtained by the Commission's Bureau of Consumer Protection. The 1997 order required Mazda to disclose important leasing terms clearly and conspicuously. The FTC found, however, that Mazda's television leasing ads continued making disclosures that were in small and unreadable print, offset by distracting images or sounds, or that appeared on the screen for too short a time. Mazda will also pay a total of $1.2 million in fines and costs to 24 states as part of the settlement. "This substantial penalty should not only deter future violations of the FTC's order by Mazda, but send a strong signal to everyone in the automobile industry manufacturers, dealers and advertising agencies that important leasing information cannot be buried in fine print," said Bureau of Consumer Protection Director Jodie Bernstein. "This information is vital to consumers who are thinking about leasing or purchasing a vehicle." The 1997 FTC order required Mazda's print and television lease ads to "clearly and conspicuously" inform consumers of important leasing terms such as the amount due at lease inception, and prohibited the company from highlighting only the most attractive lease terms such as low monthly payments.

    http://www.everwonder.com/david/gumby/movie.html
Gumby and Pokey the Movie That's right, friends. Art Clokey saved up enough money to make himself a 90-minute Gumby cartoon. This lavish piece of cinema debutted in 1995 in select theaters across America, when it probably would have done just as well had it gone directly to video. I think that's a shame, because this is, sadly enough, somewhat better than some of the more popular children's movies these days. It's noticably free of stupid musical numbers that plague the genre, and none of the characters are going to cute you to death. It doesn't follow any formula, and it doesn't try to beat children over the head with a moral lesson. Still, it's one tripped-out piece of film, and I feel it's my duty to watch it, so you don't have to. Rest assured that Art and Gloria Clokey made this look and feel exactly like the regular 6-minute shorts, but without stretching a 6-minute story into a 90-minute storyline. So, sit back, and enjoy with me, Gumby: The Movie Opening Dilintia
