Thank you for dropping in. I am from India. Born and brought up in a middle class brahmin family of Uttar Pradesh. My father, who was a self made man, was, at the time of my birth, working in the Army Reserve Police. Entire Asian Continent or for that matter the entire world was slowly recovering from the aftermath of the second world war. Those were, as I was told later, really the hard times. India was then ruled by the British. Life moved at a snails pace. My father later joined the revenue service of the Govt.Of India. His was a transferable job. He moved from one place to the other and we accompanied him on his postings. I did my postgraduation in sixties and after that got married to a girl who came from a family of teachers. Around this time I joined service in the education department. I have two children,a son and a daughter. Son is now married while daughter is between the employment. My family is small. We are six in all including my daughter-in-law and grandson. Right from my childhood I have been fascinated with the mysteries of the universe, galaxies and that of the occult sciences. Although I am not a student of science, I have been very closely watching the ongoing developments in the field of science and technology. Right from the late fifties when the Russians put their Sputnik in the orbit to this day when space travel has become very common, I have tried to keep track on the ever changing scenario on the front of science and technology. Almost all branches of science fascinate me whether they relate to earth, space or computers......
