Explorer Post 911 is a program for youth interested in the emergency medical services. We are based out of Tukwila, Washington. Post 911 is sponsored by American Medical Response (AMR) and the Boy Scouts of America. Explorers are youth between the ages of 14 to 21 who would like to learn more about EMS. Post 911 provides volunteer first aid and medical care at many local events. Because of recent allegations/incidences of abuse occurring in other explorer posts (not ours), AMR of King Co. has decided that the social contact between AMR employees and youth that occurs in an Explorer program is too risky, and Post 911 has been shut down. 123. Ford40.com, Ford 4.0 4L Engine Modifications For Ranger, Sporttrac & Explorer
Everyone knows about the Ford 5.0 in the mustang, but the Ford 4.0 in the Ranger, Explorer and SportTrac is also a great engine that responds to simple intake and exhaust modifications. Lots of photos and how to articles.
http://ford40.com
Welcome to Ford40.com (or Ford 4L or Ford 4.0, whatever you want to call it.) I've been driving a 4.0 V6 OHV equipped Ranger for 10 years now and am very surprised at how little info there is on the net for this engine/vehicle combination. So I put up this site to let others know what I've learned. In those 10 years, I've also made some mods to my Ranger that would be good for any Ranger, Explorer or SportTrac with the 4L V6 engine, and I've included them up as well. So here we go: Common problems and solutions:
  • Hesitation, sputtering, bogging
  • Overheating
  • Bad Gas Mileage
    Modifications:
  • Air Box Updated!
  • Air Intake
  • Exhaust NEW!
  • Headers
  • KN Air Filter
  • Stealth
  • 160F-180F Thermostats ...

    Review

Ruin Explorers looks like more good dumb fantasy fun, but that's not actually being fair to the series; it's really more like Slayers shifted one notch toward the non-silly end of the spectrum. Where slayers has really dumb jokes, then fairly serious plot at the end of each story arc, Ruin Explorers started light, then built to an end that was essentially straight fantasy, and a bit grim at that. Essentially, the first two episodes were a light comedy more in the vein of Oh My Goddess! and You're Under Arrest! than the really silly stuff in Slayers, or the sleazy stuff in Bastard!! (wow, look at all the exclamation points in those titles...), and the second half was more Record of Lodoss Wars than anything else. (Digression while I'm on the topic of other fantasy series: have you ever noticed that in just about every anime fantasy, the size of the shoulder plates on a character's armor is directly proportional to either their strength or their significance to the plotyou look; Linna Inverse, Irhie, that punk from Lodoss Wars, they all have really huge shoulder pads. Weak or minor characters, on the other hand, always have deficient shoulder platesheck, maybe that's why they're weak (ever noticed that the burly magic armor always has really huge shoulders? Hmm?). Ok, I'm done... sorry about that.) In a way, this story in this particular shoulder-fest was a lot more of a story than it could have been; the characters (despite their rather silly quirks) were relatively straight, and their quest was nothing to laugh at, nor did they try. By the end, in part due to some backstory that felt like more than just an afterthought or hollow reason for swordswinging, things had developed into a respectable, if not very original, fantasy quest. Actually, even on the count of originality it doesn't fare that badlythere was a twist or two (mostly at the very end) that wasn't as obvious as I was expecting.

We are crazy about the best tasting, most flavorful fruits that grow well here. We are also interested in growing special, superior and unusual fruits regardless of their appearance or commercial appeal. This includes little known varieties of apples, peaches, pears, plums, grapes and nuts; and more unusual fruits such as the pawpaw, mulberry, persimmon, fig, juneberry, Asian pear, and hardy kiwi. Our members locate, graft, propagate, test, grow and swap these superior fruiting plants, and then get together and share their knowledge.
