Resources for the General Public is an annotated compilation of materials (factsheets, articles, maps, presentations, databases) appropriate for dissemination to the general public and interested layperson or providing background for teaching about West Nile Virus, its prevention and control, and more generally about mosquito ecology. Most references are hyperlinked to full text. Search ERAP's West Nile Virus Bibliography of Scientific Literature for in-depth and research articles that have appeared on these topics in the scientific literature.

This book, published online, covers a period of 207 years of U.S. History. It starts with the ratification of the Constitution and ends with the 1996 Presidential Campaign. It has some pictures and links to other sites which provide supporting/additional information. Very interesting!

The Academy of Achievement brings you pictures and stories of "legendary achievers" of the 20th century in areas such as arts, public service, sports, and science. It’s a diverse and interesting group. There’s also a section where you can hear achievers tell how important qualities such as passion and vision have been to them.     A free software database by ASME with a lot of engineering related programs. The fluids section contains many CFD related things. Several other sections might also be of interest. Most programs are for the PC architecture.
    Free and Low-Cost CFD Software
    A comprehensive and up-to-date overview of low-budget CFD software. The site is maintained by Culbert B. Laney as a part of the web site for his book Computational Gasdynamics . The main focus is on compressible flow solvers. Many of the software packages presented are free only to US citizens. You can also find links to mesh generators and visualization packages here. It is a very good compilation, probably the best of its kind on the net. Highly recommended!
