The programs of study in agricultural education prepare students for entering careers in working with people in a variety of settings. These positions require preparation in basic sciences, technical agriculture, knowledge of the principles and techniques of the teaching-learning process, communication skills and the ability to work with people.

Tribunal members sought

In Kentucky, if a teacher is fired or suspended and files an appeal, a tribunal is appointed to hear and decide the appeal. By law, the tribunal consists of a teacher, a school administrator, and a layperson, and the law requires that you be paid $100 per day plus travel expenses for serving.
